This book has been my companion for about 20 years and I can always find something significant to help me understand this human existence. Here is a story about some visitors to Shri Ramana Maharshi.
Somerset Maugham, a well-known English author, was on a visit to Shri Bhagawan [Ramana Maharshi]. He also went to see Maj. Chadwick in his room and there he suddenly became unconscious. Maj. Chadwick requested Shri Bhagawan to see him. Shri Bhagawan went into the room, took a seat and gazed on Mr. Maugham. He regained his senses and saluted Shri Bhagawan. They remained silent and sat facing each other for nearly an hour. The author attempted to ask questions but did not speak. Maj. Chadwick encouraged him to ask. Shri Bhagawan said, "All finished, Heart-talk is all talk. All talk must end in silence only." They smiled and Shri Bhagawan left the room." p. 517
Mr. Jharka...asked how to get peace of mind. "It is in the mind that birth and death, pleasure and pain, in short the world and ego, exist. If the mind is destroyed all these [are] destroyed too. Note that it should be annihilated, not just made latent. For the mind is dormant in sleep. It does not know anything. Still, on waking up, you are as you were before. There is no end of grief. But if the mind be [sic] destroyed the grief will have no background and will disappear along with the mind." Talks with Shri Ramana Maharshi Shri Ramanasraman, Tiruvannamalai, India: T. N. Ken Carey has also been my inspiration. No one knows where he is now. Perhaps he has gone away from the Earth having left us these profound words from his inner guidance. I feel that he is speaking to me from a long lost memory of something that I have almost forgotten. It is as if he is calling from the end of a long, long tunnel of light, or like Socrates and the cave; he is talking of a world of light while I am locked in a cave of darkness and confusion. This is from his book Vision: A Personal Call to Create a New World
Page 78. "Of all the worlds, this Earth is the first to clothe my [Creator] life in fully conscious biological form. When you remember the crying of every tear, you will understand why. This Fallen experience will not be repeated. It has been an unnecessary evil, but I have turned it to good; for because of this Fall, no human being will ever again have to experience what you have experienced on this Earth. The humans of every age to come shall be your seed, your descendents. Someday they will outnumber the stars in the sky. And because they are of your seed and of your line and of your same ocean blood, they shall be immunized, every one, and shall have an inborn resistance to the excesses of fear that long ago troubled the infancy of their kind.
And so I appoint you to rule the realms of matter, representatives not of the Sun, but of the Source of every sun--the stewards of my dimensional attention, the agents of biological creation --in love with the Spirit that sings in every heart, in love with the gracious Universe that longs to dress your wishes ever in her form, my people, my body, myself. (p.78)
...The period of terrestrial history, extending from the Garden of Eden through to our Fourth Millennium departure is time spent in the womb. It is just a brief moment compared to the life, to the future that stretches before us. Yet even this cannot be undestood in fallen terms, for the life-expectancy humans experience in the Fallen state is but a fraction of the life expectancy that is the birthright of each healthy human body. In eternity, children will continue to rise up amongst us and bodies will occasionally be exchanged, but the frequency of such comings and goings will be greatly reduced. The human design is capable of seeing each individual body through numerous millennia.
...What took a very long time on Earth, when I had no human system to work through, will be done much more rtapidly on these later worlds; for I have so ordered things that all biological life is designed to be created through human form. In after years, when this is well known, the question will occasionally be posed, "But how were the first humans created?"

On a similar note of the cosmic future of humankind, here is a note from Lyssa Royal's book The Prism of Lyra She is implying that something has been implanted into our cells to create a Kundalini awakening, much like the spring sun activates the spiraling sprout from a bulb in the ground.
p. 72: What happened to the Sirian group who interfered with the plans of the Lyrans? By interfering they became energetically tied to the development of Earth. They have always had many tricks up their sleeves, and in this case they got the last laugh. When working with the Lyran group during the genetic program, they inserted a latent DNA code within the human cells. This code is triggered by an accelerating vibration that occurs when a civiliation begins to evolve spiritually. As Earth accelerates toward self-awareness and fourth density (which is occuring presently), the code is activated. Once activated, the human race unwinds its limited vision like a coil until the expanse of All That Is becomes visible. It was their way of allowing humanity to eat from the tree of life after all.
This is on page 72, one of my favorite numbers. I believe that we have destiny in the stars as ambassadors of unconditional love. My Kundalini was activated from the blue light of Muktananda in 1979. I have written some chapters about it at http://www.kundalinicoach.com Such an experience is beyond words to describe, yet it is happening to more and more people around the world. It is a world wide phenomena.

Wisdom in 13?
Every 13 days, a trecena, of the Mayan calendar, if you elect to subscribe, you will see a newsletter in your mailbox. The Mayan calendar, the Tzolkin, according to various interpretations, is based upon the beginning of the universe and the solar system's relationship to the Milky Way Galaxy which in turn is spiraling around a "central sun" with which we are soon to align. This 13 day cycle will align you with the Mayan calendar, creating a link to the great event of 2012 when many cycles come to an end, and we take a big leap up the spiral. (see below) How that will manifest is unclear, but the acceleration of consciousness is happening now as the Tzolkin predicts. We are in for interesting times and adopting the 13, my lucky number, is one way I hope to harmonize with this event.
